Twilight
Here is my summarized and opinionated perspective of the following book I’ve just read.

Summary: Twilight

Twilight is the *first book in the whole twilight saga or otherwise known as the books from 1~4. The main character, Bella swan is just an ordinary human that lives in Phoenix, Washington where it is sunny all day but then she goes on a visit her farther in Forks because she does not want to disturb her mother’s honeymoon with her new husband.

So the story takes place in a small rainy town called Forks. Her farther, Known as Charlie, sends her to a high school in Forks where there she meets the other main character, Edward Cullen. At first Bella curious about Edward so she asks her friends about him but all her friends don’t seem to know him very much. Then later after lunch period, Bella sits next to Edward in Biology class and she attempted to introduce her self but failed because he looked into her like her was very angry, with very dark eyes. Bella then understood that he did not like her at all since he even tried to change the biology class with the administer of the school.

The next day and the day after, Edward was nowhere to been seen. During lunchtime he hangs out with several other people at his table but without eating anything, they just look around. They all had yellowish gold eyes with perfectly white marble skin. Then one day Mike Newton, a kid from the same school who likes Bella, asks her if she would join him to a party down by the beach in La Push.

She later finds her old pal Jacob at the beach and then she questioned to Jacob if he knows anything about the Cullen Family. Then he said knows that according to his legend, his great grandfather, the Alpha (the leader) of his werewolf pack (the Quileute pack), made a treaty with the Cullen family that they can never transform another human into a bloodsucker or otherwise that would mean that they would break the treaty and there would be war starting. The leader of the Cullen clan, Carlisle Cullen hated violence so he said that they only suck animal blood and he said they come in peace. The Quileute pack still kept the treaty because just incase to be in the safe side.

Edward came back week later and then that was when Bella noticed something weird. It was his eyes. When she first met him, his eyes were in a dark colour but now it was a golden colour just like the others on his table. She all noticed how cold he was all the time and she wandered why. Later when she went home, she checked her computer on about vampires just for the sake of curiosity and then she found that most of the facts and descriptions listed here matched up with him and if only Jacob’s story was true, then there could be, possibly a chance that he might be it.

A Vampire.

There was a fair chance that he might be a vampire though she thought that they never really existed. She needed to check if it was true or not. The next day it was a sunny day. Bella went to school hoping that she would find Edward there but unfortunately Edward did not show up in the last 2 days. Then on a Wednesday, Jessica (another friend from the same school) came to ask her if she wanted to come with her and Angela (another friend of Bella’s) and shop for dress for the up coming prom. Of course Bella said yes since there was nothing to do if Edward was not here. Plus she can also go to the bookstore to see if there was any thing about mythical creatures.

But while coming back from the bookstore to go meet her friends at the restaurant they said to meet after the shopping. She had lost her way. Then from behind about four or five men were laughing and talking so loud. She suddenly noticed that she and the other strange people behind her where the only ones on the street. Feeling irrationally alarmed, Bella tried to walk quickly making sure that they had not realized that she realized that they were following her. But then she walks into a dead end and then they caught up with her. Then instantaneously a Volvo appeared out of know where. The driver hissed and said to get in and then Bella got without thinking at all.

Afterward she found out that it was him. Edward Cullen. He took her to the restaurant where her friends were waiting for her. But her friends got tired of waiting for her so they were about to leave. So instead Edward took her to dinner but of course Edward did not eat anything.
Subsequently, when Edward took her back home in his Volvo, Bella asked him if he was a vampire. Edward had no choice but to say yes and they also admitted that they loved each other. So then her life changed automatically as if it had changed from having a normal life to having an unreal life.

Edward introduced his family to her one day. The leader or like the farther of the clan is called Carlisle. He is a doctor and he said he is used to seeing human blood. The wife is called Esme. She jumped of the cliff that day because her only one baby died, and was sent to the morgue in the hospital. Luckily Carlisle found her in the while her heart was still beating a little bit and then to save her life, he bit her. Rosalie, the adopted blonde vampire was found all bloody on a cold night on the street. Fortunately Carlisle also found her and saved her life. Then there is Emmett, a big muscular vampire who was getting beaten up by a bear. Rosalie saved him and quickly brought him to Carlisle who bit him. The final two are Jasper and Alice. Jasper and Alice were all ready vampires when they joined the clan.

One night Edward took Bella to a family baseball game out in the thunder. But they were disturbed by an unexpected clan who weren’t blood thirsty for animal blood unlike the Cullen’s.

They drank human blood.

They were those vampires that weren’t trained to be good. In their tribe they had three vampires. One was a female with red curly hair almost like fire. Her name was Victoria. Then there was male vampire who had blonde hair and looked interested in Bella. His name was James. Then finally their leader who had black hair and dark skin. His name was Laurent.

This was a start of a war between the Cullen clan (the good guys) verses Laurent and his clan (the Bad guys).

Opinion

My opinion on this story is that I liked the suspense in the story how the main character, Bella swan was nearly going to die because of the venom that got into her. I also like the part where a car was nearly going to smash Bella but Edward stopped it in time. If I were to rate this book out of a scale from 1 to 10 I would give it a 8 because from my point-of-view, once you start reading you some how can’t stop reading and you would want to read the next book, New moon and then the next book, Eclipse and then the last book, Breaking dawn. I recommend this book for ages from 12 to 18 or so.

Today 10am in Japan time at the white house in Washington, President Obama announced the new president that won the elections for 2029.

Obama declared that he should not let some one who has no experience on being ruler (or as in president) other than being the one of the most famous celebrities, become into the next president. Although we have no clue who won the votes, Obama left us with a description of this new president, before he left the building. According to the description, the president has black hair and he used to be a black American but operated his face into a white American. He also has a pair of black sunglasses he always put on and as for the background information, he was known by the artist of the song “Thriller” and also “Beat it” and many other folk songs. He was also known as the calligrapher for the famous dance step the “moon walk”.

Many citizens have theories for this new president. For example “ my hypothesis is that M.J. stands for Michael Jordan” or such as “ my grandfather used to listen to thriller when he was 10-11 years old so I think he knows who the president is. Only if he were alive then he would of known.”

Yet unsolved, some day soon the mystery should be solved only know the mystery president’s secret. 

My opinions on Edublogs, questions and answers.

Q1.What do you think about using a blog/ website for learning at school?

A. I think that using Edublogs as a source of learning is a good idea. It is especially good to use blogs in english class because the more you type the better you can get on type and you can also see other classmate’s blog entries and comment on them. 

Q2.What are the best/worst things about using blogs?

A. Well one the best things are that you can change the backgrounds of your site, you can add pictures, videos and etc. One of the worst things for me is that when you finished writing a blog post you try to put a picture to with the post, 1. it takes time and 2. it can get complicated and not work.

Q3.Do you like the idea of using your blog/website for other classes, not just English? What subjects and why?

A. My perspective is that we should not use Edublogs in different subjects. For example in math we usually use books and works sheets instead of using the computers. It is the same for the other classes, so i think that it would be no use using Edublogs.

This book is about a boy name Cap ( short for capricon) Anderson who lives with his only family member, Grandma Rain. They lived in a farm called Garland. Cap was home-schooled by Rain and lived a happy life until one day, when Rain fell from the tree and broke her hip, from that moment Cap had to stay in the city and go to a public school! Since Rain was the only one left, Cap home stayed at Mrs. Donelly’s house. Mrs. Donelly was also from Garland but she moved into the city went she was 12 years old. In Garland Cap lived a life like in the sixties. That meant we never watched Television before, he never ate pizza in his whole life, he never ever held a dollar and he didn’t know many other normal things people do now a days. When he goes to school for his first time, he gets elected as the 8th grade president. Even though he gets bullied by the cool group he eventually starts to get popular. He even has a Tai chi( some thing like yoga) class and in art when starts making tie dye shirts, there would be a long line behind him.

I like this book because it talks about a hippy fashioned boy who suddenly comes to the city. I also like this book because i thought that this book interesting how it changes the narraitor of the book at every chapter so  we can see how each character feels.

The 3 Agents

The ninja in the dark shade of blue runs through the dark alley and jumps on a building. He jumps across buildings until Paul and I trapped him.  Paul quickly grabs the ninja with his long furry tale and he squeezes the ninja in to bits of metal. I take the brown bag he was holding and inside, we found a jewel shaped like fire. “I wonder what that is” asked Paul.

“It’s probably some kind of stone made of an shape of fire,” I said.

“Let’s take it to Wilbur, he’ll examine it for us.”

“This stone has powerful energy inside it,” said Wilbur “ I’m not so sure what kind of power it has but I can tell you one thing. What ever you don’t let them get all 3 stones.

“ What do you mean by all 3 stones?” asked Paul

“  He means that if they get all 3 stones, which I think he means by the water, fire and earth some thing bad would happen.” I replied

“ Absolutely correct.” From behind we heard some one. She stepped forward. To a horror it was my worst enemy, Kat.

“ What happened Ches, your face is all white like you have seen a ghost.

“ Well it’s because I just saw something that is much more scarier than ghost.”

“ What?”

“ You!”

“Fine! I just came here to tell you that we were going to be partners for the next mission but if your going to act that way I’ll just go by myself!” Then she stomped away.

“ No wait.” I say as I catch up with her “ who told you this?”

“ Boss”

“ Well tell him that I’ll rather go in a group of threes.

“ I not so sure if he’ll agree or not but I’ll talk to him.” She said as she dialed Boss’s number.

“ You have his number?” I asked in disbelief, since no one knows Boss’s identity.

“ Of course I do.  What kind of agent would I be if I don’t know his phone number?’

“ Some really obnoxious.” I murmured.

“ Shh! I’m talking now! Oh greetings Mr. Boss, as you know it’s me Kat. I was just wondering if me, Chester and another agent could come along. You see sir, Chester here doesn’t appreciate the fact that him and I are going on a mission together so he said that he would rather have you arrange another agent to come along. Would you accept this selfishness sir? Will you be kind enough to let another agent come along?”

It was silent for a few minutes.

“ Yes sir, right away sir. Thank you very much sir. We are indebted for your kindness sir.”

“ So, is another agent coming?” I asked.

“ Follow me.”

“ According to Boss, the new agent should be here,” says Kat, “ he said that he is short, with big teeth, has brown fur and he has a mental problem with nuts.”

“ What do you mean by ‘mental problem with nuts’?”

“ Oh look he’s here!” said Kat ignoring what I’m saying (as usual). A small jet pack landed right in front of us.  From the jet pack, a small chipmunk came out. He had big bright green eyes; small mouth but he had big huge teeth and he had a short furry tale.

“ I’m ready!” he said.

“ Ches, this is Chipper, Chipper this is Ches. Psst by the way, Ches can be really cranky these days!” says Kat infuriatingly.

“ Hey! I heard that!”

“ See I told you”

“ Still here you know!”

“ Well enough of the chit chat, let’s start traveling,” suggested Kat.

“ First of all, I don’t even know what the mission is” I said starting to get frustrated.

“ Oh all right I spouse I’ll start from the beginning. There was this kidnapped panda named Juju. She had something to do with the 3 stones so we think that the only people who has interest in the 3 stone other than us is them.

“ Who is ‘them’?” questioned Chipper

“ Only the most evilest society in the world. There Boss, known as Shark tooth is very violent.” I replied

“ Right now, we’re exactly not sure where Juju might be but we know that she is in some kind of tower” said Kat“ Are first stop is at Tokyo, so what are we waiting for? Let’s go!”

“ Wow I’ve never been to Tokyo before it’s really crowded here in Tamachi.” I said really astonished. We just arrived in a special jet.

“ As stated by Wilbur, we think that Juju might be in there,” said Kat as she pointed to a really tall tower. It was red and a little bit white in the middle.

“ What is that?” I asked

“ I’ve seen that tower before,” said Chipper “ I think it was called Tokyo Tower.”

“ Let’s start investigating if she’s there.”

10minutes later, we went back to the jet. Next stop Paris, France.

“ Bonjour welcome to France! Would you like a croissant?” asked a friendly Chef.

We were very hungry since we haven’t eaten breakfast yet so we stopped to have a quick breakfast at a restaurant.

“ Yes please,” said chipper. For such a small body, boy does Chipper eats a lot.

“ We should be on our way now” I said “ We need to find her before it’s too late.”

“ So where’s the next tower?” Chipper asked.

“ It’s right there” Kat replied “ The brown looking tower known as the Eiffel tower.”

We searched from top to bottom but we couldn’t find poor Juju anywhere. Instead we found a stone, which was shaped as in water drop. Later we found out that was the second stone Even though we found the second stone, we still needed to look for Juju.

We got a sudden call from Wilbur in the afternoon.

“ I traced down for Juju and I found out that she was in the Big Ben.”

“ Ok we will get there right away.” I said.

Ding Dong

“ We’re in the Big Ben! Said Chipper.

“ Hurry we need her.” I ran around the room searching every single place of where she might be but I couldn’t find her. But when I was about to give up, Kat suddenly said

“Wait a second, isn’t it possible that she might be underground?” while pointing to the floor.

“ Nonsense. Why would she be undergrou-.”

“ Found her!” Kat said while bringing the panda up.

“Good job. Not bad eh? I think that you could of come faster though” we heard a voice from behind. We turned around and to our surprise it was Shark tooth himself! Shark tooth was smaller than I expected.  He was the size of mouse and he had big white fangs.

“ Well, well, well look what we have here. 3 powerless agents. You might have won this time but you haven’t seen the last of me!” and with that he vanished into thin air.

“ So what do you do know?” Chipper asked. We were all tired from the mission.

“ I think we should head back” I said, “ I could really use some sleep.”

“  But before we go home, there is some place I want to go…” and as Chipper says so he jumps on to the jet plane.

“Aloha! Now this is what I call life!” Says Kat. It had been an hour or so since we last saw Shark tooth. On the other hand, we flew all the way from London to Hawaii. Right now we were going to have a limbo contest. As the fire torches light up on the Hawaiian beach, we sat the warm sand looking at the dark blue ocean. It had been a long day since the mission had been announced. I was sure that every one was tired out and they wanted to head straight to there rooms. So when the party was still going on, we headed to our jet and we flew in the mid summer’s night sky.

On Saturday, the middle school basket ball team challenged Nishimachi to a game of basket ball. There three games altogether. First it 6th grade, then it was 7th grade then finally, it was 8th grade. I was in the 6th grade game. On that day there were two people absent so we didn’t have that much people in our team but we played 5 aside. The Nishimachi players were really tall and strong so it was hard to believe that they were in 6th grade. we scored some goals during the game but we ended as 6-12. That meant that our defending skills are improving. The Nishimachi team won. Although we lost i thought that we did a good job and we improved from last time.

the third book i read in sakura medal was called the Lemonade war. this story is about a boy named evan and his sister jessie. in this story they had a competition about selling the most lemonade at their lemonade stand and the first person to make 1million yen(100 dollars) wins.

i thought that this story was very interesting because in the story, the author wrote both of their feelings like they were telling the story. For example, the 1st paragraph was about evan and then the 2nd story was about jessie and so on. the author also included strategies of how to put up a success full lemonade stand. my favorite character in the story was jessie because i think that she was very smart and thoughtful. her personality is that she never gives up and that she always plans ahead. i really recomend this book to people who loves lemonade or just want to know how to make lemonade.

my second sakura medal book was about journeys and the spirits. the main character of the story was called Dashti. Dashti was a mucker but when her mother died, dashti had no where to go so she went to the city and studied hard. hard enough to become a lady’s maid. she became lady saren’s maid. lady saren was a honored lady of titor (the animal god)’s garden. but then her farther locked her up for 7 years,in the watch tower because she refuesed to marry this guy called lord kharsar. while living in the tower for days and days, dashti finds out many things for example, in the summer inside the tower it is boiling hot and in the winter the tower inside is freezing cold. will she ever get out of the horrible tower?

my opinion to this story was that i liked the way the author used very interesting words and simalies
and how she put in an accent to each character as they talk. my favorite character in the book was dashti because her character was very kind thoughtful and very caring and also willing to help others. She also cares about the gods alot.
